Dave and I at the 2008 Walk For Thought

Help me reach my goal!

Last year, Dave and I participated in the Walk For Thought. With the help of my family and friends, I was able to raise over $1,200! Far more than my original goal of $300.

Since that time, I have received a clean bill of health after my ruptured brain aneurysm and surgery in 2006. However, over the Christmas holiday, Dave's 32-year old niece died very suddenly of a massive ruptured brain aneurysm and then a few days later, my cousin Jennifer (also in her 30's) lost her 9 year battle with a brain tumor.

I know times are tough and money is tight, but if you can spare even a few dollars to help me reach my personal fundraising goal of $500 this year, please support me with a donation by selecting the "DONATE" link on the left. Together, our efforts will help make a big difference in helping those afflicted with brain injuries, as well as those who are their caregivers.

THANK YOU!

Time to Walk!

If anyone would like to join Dave and I on March 21st, please let me know and I can guide you through the registration process. Last year I walked 4 miles, which for most people isn't much, but for me, it was an accomplishment. It was too chilly to walk outside last year so we used the indoor track at Colby.

So, get those sneakers out of the closet and let's go walk for a good cause!
